Please use hand sanitiser located around the site. Please also use the sanitiser spray bottles provided when collecting water, using the Elsan Point etc.

If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 during your stay or are contacted by Track and Trace, please remain in your unit. Telephone the wardens and if you are fit to do so leave the site and return home to self-isolate.

We are encouraging all our guests to make use of their own facilities where possible to help manage the demand and help maintain social distance.

On arrival, please collect your pitch information from outside the site office and make your way to your pitch. If you need assistance, reception is open, please come and see us or call us on 01423 546145.

Site Information

We hope you have a lovely, relaxing time with us.

Please take a few minutes at the start of your holiday to read our Site Information.


All new arrivals must report to Reception to collect your pitch details and further information on your stay with us.


Pitches are available from 1pm and must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of your departure, unless otherwise arranged.

Should a specific pitch be required, please enquire at the time of booking. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request. Please also ensure you also book the correct pitch type to match your requirements, as errors in pitch type cannot always be rectified on arrival. If you are unsure, please call us and we will be happy to advise.


Vehicles must be parked within your allocated pitch.

Driving around the Park

There is a one way system in place around the park.
Please ensure driving around the park is kept to a minimum.
Please use the roadways provided to access your pitch.
The speed limit on the park is 5mph.

Care must be taken when riding bicycles around site. Please use the roads and avoid cycling between pitches or around the facilities block.

Commercial vehicles are not permitted on site (unless arranged by Park staff for servicing requirements).


Children must not be allowed to play in or around the facilities block or in the park entrance. Children must be supervised at all times.


We ask that all holiday makers show consideration to each other and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially during the evening.


Dogs are welcome in the park, but we ask that they must be kept on a lead, no more than 3 metres long, at all times.

If possible, please do not let your dog foul on the site but if they do, please clean up after them.  We have provided a dog waste bin on the entrance of our overflow field which can be used to exercise your dog.

We have a Doggy Shower for guests’ use which is situated at the side out our facilities block.  Please rinse this area down after use.

Dogs must not be left unattended during your stay at Harrogate Caravan Park.

Barbecues/Camp Fires

Barbecues are permitted, but must be raised above the ground or placed on suitable surfaces (ie gravel) so damage to the grass is avoided.

Open campfires, disposable barbecues, chimineas and fire pits are not permitted.

Pitch Cleanliness/Litter

The area surrounding your pitch must be kept clean and tidy at all times whilst occupying the pitch and on your departure. Litter and refuse must be disposed of in the designated areas provided.

Toilet tents may only be erected within the confines of your pitch.

To conserve water, washing of caravans/motorhomes is prohibited.


The Management reserve the right to refuse single sex groups as well as groups aged 18 and under.

Shower/Toilet Facilities

The toilet and shower facilities are open

Children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by a responsible adult whilst using our toilet and shower facilities at all times.

The toilet and showers are closed daily between 11am and 12 noon to allow for our deep clean.  Please note the facilities may also be closed at other times during the day.

To keep our high standards please leave the facilities in a clean and tidy state ready for use for the next guest.

Please take care as floors may be slippery.

We have provided sanitising sprays in each of the showers and around the washing areas

Pot Washing Facilities

There are two  Pot Washing sinks available with sanitiser spray in place.  Please keep the pot washing area clean and tidy ready for the next persons’ use.

Pot washing must only take place in the designated area, and should not take place in the shower/basin facilities.


Electric facilities are available on all pitches, free of charge. Please note, for your safety, generators are not permitted.


  • Keep a torch handy for emergencies
  • Caravans, tents and motor homes should carry a fire extinguisher which is positioned correctly by the entrance
  • Make sure that any gas pipe connection inside your caravan is secure
  • Never cook inside a tent
  • Don’t smoke inside tents, or use candles
  • Fit and test a smoke alarm in your caravan
  • Turn off all appliances before you go out, or go to bed
  • Always remove litter and rubbish from the side of your caravan or tent.
  • Chinese lanterns can be dangerous and are therefore not allowed to be used on the site.

As soon as you can, once you have arrived, make yourself familiar with the site’s fire safety precautions and location of fire points.

All persons staying on or visiting the site use the facilities provided entirely at their own risk, Harrogate Caravan Park and its’ owners cannot accept any liability for loss, damage or accident to persons or property.

Please Note: This information has been put in place for your own safety and to ensure that all our customers have an enjoyable stay. Anyone causing a nuisance should be reported to reception, and we will endeavour to resolve the problem. Persons continually causing a nuisance to others will asked to leave the site without a refund.
